Drugs, Mystical Experience, and the Value of Service

A Conversation with Linda & Michael Molina

First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Linda and Michael Molina for inviting me to share my insights and experiences on their esteemed platform. Our engaging conversation traversed through the realms of spirituality, the use of entheogens, and the profound journey toward self-realization. Here are some of the key points I discussed during our enlightening conversation:

Oneness and Surrender:

One of the pivotal aspects of spiritual growth I emphasized is the practice of surrender and the dissolution of the ego to attain a state of “Oneness” or non-dual awareness. This state transcends the dichotomy of self and other, immersing one into a boundless existence that is the true nature of reality. I posited that the various paths and narratives leading to Oneness are but creations of higher consciousness, serving as a script that guides us through the unfolding drama of self-discovery. The crux of the journey lies in surrendering and opening one’s heart to the myriad experiences that life presents, allowing the essence of Oneness to permeate our being.

Embracing Negative Experiences:

The path toward spiritual enlightenment is not always bathed in light. It often takes us through the dark alleys of our psyche, urging us to confront and embrace our shadows. I shared the importance of welcoming negative experiences or the “dark sides” as integral parts of the spiritual journey. These challenging phases, when navigated with awareness and acceptance, can catalyze profound growth and a deeper understanding of our true nature.

Advice for Spiritual Seekers:

The spiritual expedition is an endless voyage towards the heart of existence. I advised fellow seekers to persevere, even when they stumble upon beautiful or profound experiences. There’s always a deeper level of realization awaiting beyond the apparent zenith. Each step taken on this sacred path unveils a new horizon of understanding, urging us to delve deeper into the mystery of existence.

Philosophical Insight:

Reflecting on the nature of reality, I likened the stories and paths leading to spiritual realization to scripts in a movie, orchestrated by a higher consciousness. These scripts, while seemingly real and consequential, are mere narratives that help make sense of our journey towards Oneness. The ultimate truth lies beyond these scripts, in the boundless realm of pure consciousness where the illusion of separation dissolves, revealing the unadulterated essence of Oneness.

Our conversation was a deep dive into the essence of spirituality, the transformative potential of brainwave entrainment, entheogens, and the boundless journey toward self-realization. I am immensely grateful to Linda and Michael Molina for providing a platform to explore and share these profound truths. Through such enlightening exchanges, we inch closer to unravelling the mystic tapestry of existence and fostering a collective awakening to the inherent unity of all life.

The Harmonious Dance of Heart and Head

Unveiling the Balance in Spiritual Growth

In this episode “Bodhi in the Brain” on Guru Viking, a profound exploration of the interplay between the heart and the head in the realm of spiritual growth unfolds. The dialogue between host, Steve James, and me delves into the intrinsic balance that propels the journey of self-discovery and enlightenment.

The narrative posits that the journey toward spiritual growth is akin to a harmonious dance between the heart and the head. It’s not a path of choosing one over the other, but a path of embracing the unique essence and contribution of both. The heart, with its boundless capacity for love, compassion, and intuition, holds the keys to the realms of the unexplored, the unexpressed, and the unified. On the other hand, the head, with its analytical prowess, rationality, and discernment, provides the structure, clarity, and understanding essential for navigating the complex tapestry of existence.

The beauty of this dance lies in the seamless integration of the heart’s intuitive wisdom and the head’s analytical clarity. It’s about fostering a space where the heart and the head are not at odds, but in harmony, each complementing the other, leading to a holistic understanding of the self and the universe.

The dialogue invites us to reflect on the often overlooked balance between the emotional and the intellectual, the intuitive and the analytical. It’s a call to transcend the dualistic approach and step into a space of holistic understanding, where the heart and the head together illuminate the path toward spiritual growth.

This episode “Bodhi in the Brain” is a gateway into a realm where the harmonious dance of heart and head unveils the profound simplicity and beauty of spiritual growth. It’s a reminder that in the journey of self-discovery and enlightenment, the heart and the head are companions, each holding a piece of the puzzle, each illuminating a facet of the truth.

As we embark on this journey of integrating the heart and the head, we are stepping into a space of boundless exploration, where the wisdom of the heart and the clarity of the head together guide us toward the profound depths of spiritual growth.

The Weight of the World and the Path to Spiritual Awakening

In the vast expanse of our human journey, there are moments of profound weight, where one feels as if they are carrying the burdens of the entire world upon fragile shoulders. This weight, often elusive and ineffable, is the manifestation of our ego, the culmination of our personal experiences intertwined with the collective unconscious of humanity.

Such weight can be overwhelming, sometimes akin to bearing witness to all of the human pain, suffering, and dark episodes of our shared history. Yet, it is said that we are never burdened with more than we can bear. This assertion, though challenging to grasp especially in our moments of despair, points towards a greater purpose – the evolution of the soul.

Those who endure and navigate through this weight, emerging on the other side of its crushing force, often find themselves transformed. The ego, once the dominating force, begins to dissolve, making way for a purer, more profound connection with the universe. This metamorphosis leads to humility, replacing pride and arrogance with an understanding that we are but a tiny fragment of the vast cosmos.

With this newfound humility comes a more receptive heart. Love, compassion, and empathy flow effortlessly, as the barriers that once separated us from others crumble. We begin to truly understand the adage, “Walk a mile in another man’s shoes.” This isn’t just about human-to-human connections; it extends to all life forms. We start recognizing the soul in every being, every flutter of a leaf, every chirp of a bird.

The ultimate realization, perhaps, is the true meaning of the age-old teaching, “Love thy neighbour as thyself.” It is not merely a call for kindness but a revelation that at the core, beyond the layers of ego and societal constructs, we are all one. There is no other; there is only us, interconnected and interdependent.

In conclusion, while the weight of the world can seem unbearable at times, it might just be the universe’s way of preparing us for a deeper connection, for a spiritual awakening that allows us to see beyond the superficial and truly embrace all that is.

The Mystical Peak Experience of Pure Sexual Love

Exploring Eros

In the diverse tapestry of human experience, few phenomena are as enigmatic and profound as the experience of love. Among its many facets, the experience of Eros stands apart as a sublime manifestation of pure sexual love that transcends the ordinary and becomes mystical.

Eros: More than Just Desire

Named after the Greek god of love, Eros is often relegated to the realm of mere physical attraction or romantic infatuation. However, to those who have encountered its mystical peak, it represents something far more profound. Eros is an expression of love that transcends mere physicality, reaching into the spiritual realm and connecting us to something greater.

The Peak Experience: A Transcendental Connection

The mystical experience of Eros is not about hedonistic pleasure or fleeting passion. It’s a profound peak experience that transcends the mundane, awakening a deeper connection not only with a partner but with existence itself.

In this state, lovers are not merely engaging in a physical act; they are participating in a sacred ritual that symbolizes unity, trust, and transcendence. It’s a moment where boundaries dissolve, and two individuals become one, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.

The Philosophical Dimensions of Eros

The experience of Eros brings into focus philosophical questions about the nature of love, connection, and existence. Is love merely a biochemical reaction, or does it hint at a more profound, cosmic truth? Can sexual love be a pathway to spiritual enlightenment? What does it mean to truly connect with another human being?

Many philosophers and mystics have explored these questions, recognizing the potential for sexual love to be a vehicle for self-realization and spiritual growth. Eros, in its purest form, challenges our conventional understanding of love, encouraging us to see beyond the superficial and to recognize the sacred in the everyday.

Conclusion: Eros as a Path to Understanding

The mystical peak experience of Eros is not just a fleeting moment of pleasure; it’s a profound philosophical insight into the nature of connection, existence, and the human condition. It offers a glimpse into a realm where love is not confined to physical attraction but is a unifying force that binds us all.

To understand Eros is to engage with some of the most fundamental questions about what it means to be human, what it means to love, and what it means to connect with something greater than ourselves. It’s a journey that invites us to look within, to question, to explore, and to grow.

The mystical experience of Eros reminds us that love is not merely an emotion but a transformative power that can lead us to deeper understanding and spiritual awakening. It is a beacon that guides us toward a more profound connection with ourselves, with others, and with the universe itself. In embracing Eros, we may find not just pleasure, but wisdom, joy, and a sense of unity that transcends our earthly existence.

Exploring the Emotional Spectrum

A Journey Through Plutchik’s Wheel and the Hindu Subtle Body

Introduction

The exploration of human emotion transcends disciplines, cultures, and time. From psychological models such as Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions to the spiritual teachings within Hinduism concerning the subtle body, the pursuit to understand our emotional selves is as complex as it is enriching. This blog post takes a deep dive into these seemingly disparate concepts, examining the intersection of emotion, spirituality, and subtle awakening.

Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions

Plutchik’s model identifies eight basic emotions:

1. **Joy** – A sense of happiness and fulfillment.
2. **Trust** – Confidence in something or someone.
3. **Fear** – A response to perceived danger or threat.
4. **Surprise** – A reaction to the unexpected.
5. **Sadness** – A feeling of loss or despair.
6. **Disgust** – A strong aversion or repulsion.
7. **Anger** – A reaction to perceived wrong or injustice.
8. **Anticipation** – Expectation or excitement for what’s to come.

These primary emotions combine to form complex emotions and are mapped in a way that each emotion has an opposite.

The Emotional Subtle Body in Hinduism

Hindu philosophy introduces the concept of the subtle body, an intricate and vital part of our spiritual being, separate from the physical body. Comprised of the mind (Manas), intellect (Buddhi), ego (Ahamkara), and conditioned consciousness (Chitta), the subtle body is responsible for our thoughts, emotions, and consciousness.

Connecting the Dots: Emotions and the Subtle Body

The profound connection between Plutchik’s emotional spectrum and the emotional subtle body within Hinduism lies in the universality of emotions and the depth of human experience. Here’s a breakdown:

– **Joy & Trust**: These positive emotions align with spiritual awakening and the cultivation of inner peace and compassion, reflecting a higher level of consciousness.

– **Fear & Anger**: These emotions can be linked to spiritual blocks or ignorance (Avidya) within Hinduism, which hampers spiritual growth.

– **Surprise & Anticipation**: These emotions speak to our deep connection with the universe and the ever-changing nature of life, echoing the Hindu belief in the transient nature of our physical existence.

– **Sadness & Disgust**: Often seen as negative emotions, they can be channels for growth and understanding of the self, mirroring the Hindu concept of Dharma or righteous living.

Conclusion: Emotions as Pathways to Spiritual Awakening

The emotional spectrum is not merely a psychological construct but a spiritual pathway. By understanding emotions through the lens of both Plutchik’s model and Hindu philosophy, we can embark on a journey toward subtle spiritual awakening.

The nuances of emotions, their combinations, and their reflections within the emotional subtle body offer us tools to navigate our spiritual paths. The profound connection between these concepts suggests that our emotions are not transient or superficial but deeply entwined with our very essence.

This exploration encourages us to recognize emotions as more than reactions to the world around us. They are signposts guiding us toward self-realization and a deeper connection with the divine within.

The Profound Transformation of Realizing Oneself as Brahman

A Journey Beyond the Self

In the boundless tapestry of human existence, few ideas are as profound and transformative as the realization of oneself as Brahman. A central concept in Hindu philosophy, Brahman refers to the ultimate reality or cosmic spirit, a principle that transcends the individual self and unites all living beings.

This blog post explores the many changes an individual might experience upon this realization, a journey that transcends mundane existence and awakens a new consciousness.

### The Loss of Ego and the Embrace of Unity

Perhaps the most radical shift in consciousness comes from losing the individual ego. Recognizing oneself as part of the universal oneness leads to a dissolution of the self, allowing the individual to see beyond the superficial distinctions that often characterize human perception. This leads to a profound sense of unity, empathy, and compassion, transcending barriers like race, nationality, and religion.

### A Shift in Values and Desire

The realization of Brahman changes the very fabric of desire and ambition. Material possessions, social status, and even relationships may lose their significance, replaced by spiritual growth and a deepened understanding of the cosmic order. The individual might pursue selfless service, finding fulfillment in contributing to the well-being of all.

### The Embrace of Paradox and the Transcendent Nature of Existence

This profound awakening allows for a comfortable acceptance of paradoxes and contradictions. Time becomes more fluid, creativity blossoms, and the person might develop an ability to recognize synchronicities, meaningful coincidences that reveal the interconnected web of existence.

### Living in Harmony and Transcending Social Constructs

Living in harmony with nature, respecting all life, and transcending conventional gender roles and social constructs, the enlightened individual moves through life with grace, mindfulness, and effortless action. Their actions are unforced, carried out with a sense of reverence and alignment with universal ethics.

### The Physical and Emotional Manifestations

The journey to realizing oneself as Brahman does not merely affect the mind but also resonates through the body and emotions. The individual may find improved physical well-being, experience deeper states of meditation, and become almost entirely devoid of internal and external conflict.

### The Inspiration to Others

Through this transformation, the individual becomes a living example of peace, love, and wisdom, inspiring others simply through their presence and way of being. They embody a philosophy that sees beyond the limitations of material existence and offers a path to spiritual awakening.

### Conclusion

The realization of oneself as Brahman is a profound spiritual concept that encompasses every aspect of being—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. It offers a glimpse into a state of consciousness that transcends the mundane and awakens a new way of perceiving reality.

In a world often driven by material pursuits and divisive ideologies, the teachings surrounding Brahman provide a timeless wisdom that calls for unity, compassion, and a life centred on spiritual truth. Whether viewed as a philosophical concept, a religious belief, or a spiritual experience, the realization of Brahman invites us to look beyond the self and embrace a vision of existence that is all-encompassing, transcendent, and profoundly transformational.

As we navigate the complexities of modern life, may we find inspiration in the ancient wisdom that teaches us to see ourselves not as isolated beings but as part of a grand, interconnected cosmos, guided by a principle that is at once beyond us and within us. It is a journey of discovery, a path to enlightenment, and a call to a deeper, more meaningful existence.

The Circular Journey of Reincarnation

A Dance of Spirit, Self, and Transcendence

Sculpted by ancient wisdom and breathed into existence by mystic philosophies, the idea of reincarnation challenges our perception of reality, questioning the depth of life, death, and the realms that extend beyond our comprehension. It’s an intriguing path leading to a fascinating panorama of eternal becoming, a ceaseless cycle of birth, death, and rebirth that we often term ‘Samsara’. Delving deeper into this concept, a theory emerges, where the omnipresent Spirit, or the Ground of all Being, embarks on a journey to experience life from an individual standpoint.

The Spirit, in its omnipotent and omniscient state, voluntarily decides to fragment its infiniteness into a finite form, breathing life into an individual self. But why does this transition occur? Could it be that the Spirit seeks to experience, understand, and embrace the existential dynamics from the individual lens? To dive into the chaotic beauty of life, to suffer, to joy, to yearn, and to discover? We can only speculate.

The interaction between the Spirit and its earthly existence forms an intricate dance, a dance that eventually leads to the enrichment of the Spirit. Each incarnation, each dance, is an opportunity for the Spirit to learn, grow, and evolve. If Nirvana or Moksha, the state of absolute liberation, isn’t attained in a single lifetime, the Spirit continues its journey through subsequent lifetimes, circling the samsara wheel.

In this theory, one might imagine each cycle of Samsara to be equivalent to a full rotation of 360 degrees. Each degree of rotation represents the lived experiences, the struggles and victories, the heartaches and joys, and the insights and awakenings that shape the individual soul’s evolution. Upon completing this 360-degree cycle, the Spirit transitions to a new plane of existence, a higher level of consciousness, armed with the wisdom and enlightenment accumulated from its previous journey.

This continuum is profound. It’s a cosmic design that instills a sense of awe and wonder, presenting the possibility of existence in planes beyond our material world. It grants our life a transcendent purpose, a grandeur that transcends the limitations of a single life span.

Reincarnation, as visualized in this theory, leads us to reconsider the significance of our lives. It encourages us to perceive every event, every interaction, as an opportunity for the Spirit to learn and evolve. Furthermore, it nudges us to view ourselves not merely as transient beings but as vessels for the Spirit’s journey toward the absolute.

In conclusion, the philosophical discourse on reincarnation paints a vivid picture of the Spirit’s quest. It traverses from the individual standpoint to the Ground of all Being, from the mortal realm to the absolute. In each cycle, in each dance, in each 360-degree turn, we find the Spirit growing, understanding, and inching closer to its final destination: a state of total enlightenment and liberation. As seekers on this journey, may we live mindfully, learn incessantly, and evolve steadily. After all, aren’t we the Spirit’s manifestation seeking its way back home?

The Dance of Divine Ignorance

Brahman’s Playful Journey to Self-Realization

From the mysterious depths of Hindu philosophy arises a compelling concept, the notion of divine ignorance. Within this notion, we find an intriguing paradox: Brahman, the supreme reality or absolute truth, embarks on a deliberate voyage of self-forgetfulness, only to rediscover itself anew.

The journey begins with Brahman, the substratum of all existence. As an eternal, infinite entity beyond time, space, and causality, it is all-knowing and all-encompassing. Yet, it willingly dons the cloak of divine ignorance, becoming unaware of its true nature. Why? It’s an act of divine playfulness or ‘lila.’ It is a purposeful exercise to experience life’s duality, diversity, and the contrasts it can offer.

In this state of divine ignorance, Brahman may assume any form, animate or inanimate, and traverse a myriad of experiences, each unique and valuable. As humans, animals, or even as the elements themselves, Brahman willingly dives into the sea of forgetfulness, plunging into the game of life and death, joy and sorrow, love and hatred. Brahman is there in every moment, in every experience, playing hide-and-seek with itself.

Each incarnation in this state is a chapter of the cosmic narrative, leading to an eventual grand finale – the rediscovery of the self as Brahman. This moment of awakening is not a simple return to the start but a profound realization heightened by the accumulated experiences. It is a conscious awareness of oneness, a dissolution of the illusory divide between the self and the universe.

However, this journey isn’t a linear path. It’s a dance, a rhythm of existence where each beat is a cycle of divine ignorance and self-realization. Each turn of the dance spirals upwards, towards an ever-deepening understanding and experience of the truth.

The concept of divine ignorance challenges us to see life not as a series of random events but as a purposeful, meaningful journey toward self-realization. It teaches us that ignorance isn’t a flaw to be eradicated, but an essential part of the cosmic play. It is a transformative cocoon that emerges as the butterfly of awareness.

Divine ignorance invites us to embrace our vulnerabilities, our doubts, and our seeming ‘ignorance,’ and use them as catalysts for growth. It gently reminds us that the path to self-realization isn’t a desperate escape from ignorance but a joyful dance through it.

In conclusion, the dance of divine ignorance is not just Brahman’s journey but ours. We are not separate from Brahman, we are Brahman; playing the role of being a part of it, participating in this cosmic dance. Divine ignorance is not an obstacle but a bridge to our ultimate truth. It’s a profound truth worth reflecting upon, and perhaps, just perhaps, it’s time for us to embrace the dance and rediscover ourselves anew.

The Ultimate Context

A Glimpse Beyond Our Narratives

Life is a tapestry of personal narratives. Each of us is the author of our own story, swept up in the whirl of our everyday trials and tribulations, from the mundane to the monumental. We’re all preoccupied with our victories and defeats, joys and sorrows, dreams and disappointments, which collectively form our unique, personal content. Yet, amidst this tumultuous weave of personal stories, there lurks a broader tapestry, a profound, immutable context that transcends our existences—the Ultimate Reality or the Ultimate Context.

This Ultimate Context is akin to a vast ocean upon which our individual lives are but transient waves. We are too often ignorant of its presence, absorbed in the details of our fleeting crests and troughs, beginnings, and endings. But our myopic vision deprives us of the understanding that our waves are inseparable from the larger, unfathomable expanse of the ocean—the Ultimate Reality.

Unveiling the Veil of Illusion

Many philosophical traditions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism, refer to our preoccupation with personal content as an illusion—maya or samsara. This illusion stems from our inability to recognize that the seemingly separate, solid, and enduring ‘self’ we believe ourselves to be is just a wave on the ocean’s surface, part of the boundless, interconnected, and constantly changing Ultimate Reality.

Our inability to perceive this reality is often compared to a dream from which we struggle to awaken. Our ‘personal content’ may seem to us the full reality because it engrosses our senses and emotions, yet it is merely a fragment of the ‘Ultimate Context.’

Rediscovering the Ultimate Context

How do we reorient our focus away from our narratives to understand the Ultimate Context? Philosophies and spiritual traditions around the world suggest varied paths, from rigorous intellectual inquiry to deep meditation. Regardless of the method, the goal remains the same: to transcend the confines of our consciousness and recognize our union with the Ultimate Reality.

Practicing mindfulness and living in the ‘here and now’ is one approach that offers us the chance to step away from our content. Mindfulness offers a way to become aware of the ‘nowness’ of existence, to experience the world and ourselves as a series of interconnected, ephemeral phenomena. Through this process, we can gradually attune ourselves to the Ultimate Context.

The Potential Impact

Imagine what our lives would look like if we acknowledged the Ultimate Context. Our struggles, while not diminished, might be seen in a new light. We would recognize that we are not isolated entities combating a hostile universe, but integral parts of a vast, interconnected whole. This understanding could engender a profound sense of peace, compassion, and interconnectedness, transforming our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world at large.

Embracing the Journey

Venturing into the realm of the Ultimate Context is not an easy task. It requires us to shift our perceptions, to question our deeply ingrained beliefs about ourselves and reality. But the journey, while challenging, holds the promise of a profound transformation—a metamorphosis from a wave oblivious of its oceanic nature to one that rides the currents of existence with grace, understanding, and wonder.

In the end, the Ultimate Context is not a lofty abstraction to be pondered upon, but a living reality to be experienced. It invites us to shift our gaze from the canvas of our content and behold the magnificent tapestry of existence. To make this shift is to awaken from our dream of separateness and embrace the full richness of our interconnected lives. This is not an escape from our day-to-day trials and tribulations but a broader understanding of their place within a larger panorama of existence. By grounding our narratives within the Ultimate Context, we can navigate life’s ups and downs with greater equanimity, wisdom, and inner peace.

Implications for Society

If we expand this understanding from the individual to the collective level, the implications are profound. Recognizing the Ultimate Context could revolutionize our approach to societal issues, from climate change to social inequality. Instead of viewing these problems through the narrow lens of individualistic concerns, we would perceive them as disruptions in the interconnected web of existence that they truly are. This could catalyze a more compassionate, holistic, and effective response.

The Ultimate Journey

The journey toward the Ultimate Context is more than a philosophical quest. It is a profound transformation, an inner pilgrimage towards a fuller, more interconnected understanding of reality. It is a journey from the known to the unknown, from the surface to the depth, from separateness to oneness.

Embracing the Ultimate Context does not mean rejecting our content, our individual stories. Instead, it invites us to view them as integral threads of a grander cosmic tapestry. The beauty of our trials and tribulations, our victories and defeats, lies in their interconnectedness with everything else that exists.

In this journey, we are not alone. Every individual, consciously or unconsciously, is a traveller on this path. We are all part of the same quest, the same unfolding story of discovering and understanding the Ultimate Context. As we navigate this path, let us remember that our waves are not separate from the ocean. They are the ocean, expressing itself in all its diversity, beauty, and mystery. In embracing the Ultimate Context, we celebrate not just our narratives, but the grand saga of existence itself.

Tracing the Divine Contours

Metaphorical Exploration of the Three Faces of God

As we endeavour to understand the divine, let’s imagine sketching three different portraits of God, each revealing a unique aspect of the divine. These are the “Three Faces of God,” metaphorically spoken of as “I am That,” “Thou art,” and “It, the Ground of All Being.” Each face provides a different set of facial features, offering a new perspective and experience of the divine.

1. The First Portrait: “I am That”

Envision drawing the first portrait, where you sketch not with your hand, but with your consciousness. This portrait, entitled “I am That,” represents the divine as the reflection of our inner selves. The eyes in this portrait mirror our own, sparkling with the wisdom of unity and oneness. These eyes are windows into the soul, witnessing the divine within us and in everything around us.

The lips are sealed, symbolizing the silence that encapsulates the profound realization of this facet of divinity. It is a silence not born of absence but of completeness, tranquillity that resonates with the essence of existence. The serene countenance of this portrait is a silent affirmation of our inherent divinity.

2. The Second Portrait: “Thou Art”

Now, we turn to the second portrait, “Thou Art.” Here, the divine is perceived as the other, an entity separate from ourselves. In this image, the eyes are compassionate, gazing at us with empathy and understanding, reflecting a personal deity who knows us intimately, one who listens, guides, and protects.

The lips are gently curved into a comforting smile, a symbol of the divine’s eternal love and benevolence. This portrait embodies a divine entity that exists independently of us, yet is deeply connected in a loving and caring relationship.

3. The Third Portrait: “It, the Ground of All Being”

The third portrait, “It, the Ground of All Being,” is an abstract masterpiece. Instead of conventional facial features, it is an evolving canvas of colours, shapes, and patterns, capturing the unfathomable depths and dimensions of the divine as the fundamental essence of existence.

This image lacks eyes and lips because it symbolizes the impersonal aspect of the divine. It is the primordial backdrop from which all forms arise and into which they merge. This face does not interact or engage in the usual sense but is simply there, perpetually present, the immutable reality underlying all of existence.

Wrapping Up

This metaphorical exploration of the “Three Faces of God” is like an artful journey into divinity’s vast and varied landscapes. It encourages us to recognize the divine in our reflections, in a comforting gaze, and in the ever-changing canvas of existence.

Each of these faces, with its unique set of features, invites us to a different experience and understanding of God, enabling us to connect with the divine on multiple levels. It’s a contemplative journey that opens up possibilities for self-discovery and spiritual growth, enhancing our cosmic connection. In these divine portraits, we don’t just see different faces of God; we see reflections of our own quest for spiritual understanding and existential meaning.
